An antique wooden typesetters stand from H.W. Caslon & Co Ltd, one of Britain’s most influential type foundries. With its slanted design and 18 divided compartments, it would have originally been used to organize type blocks and small printing tools. The warm patina of the wood and the maker’s plaque at the top reflect years of use in a working print environment.

The stand now serves as both a piece of printing history and a distinctive decorative object. It can be used to store and display small items, or simply as a statement piece that connects to the heritage of typography and printmaking.
