A pair of vintage textile mill carrying or storage cylinders, one black and one red. Both have sealed bases and open tops. The red cylinder has a small hole, visible in the images, and features printed lettering that reads “THE LICHT WEIGHT VULCANIZED FIBRE LIMITED M’F’D BY LANCASTER.” These cylinders were likely used in textile production or storage and show signs of age and use consistent with their industrial history. They make interesting decorative pieces or practical storage items for a workshop or studio.
