This vintage Arts and Crafts style stained glass hall lantern hangs from a simple brass chain. It has a square form with coloured glass panels on each side and a studded, scalloped lower edge. The glass is set in sturdy metalwork that shows the quality of early craftsmanship. Some internal metalwork appears to have been added later, but it does not affect the lantern’s structure or appearance. When lit, it gives off a warm, colorful glow that brings depth and character to any hallway or entryway.
